Morro Bay and Los Osos

Morro Bay
is located 4 miles south of Cayucos and offers deep sea fishing excursions, whale watching trips, glass bottom boats, and kayaks for paddling around the harbor. Morro Bay also has a public 18 hole golf course at very reasonable rates and available tee times. The embarkadero offers numerous shops and restaurants as well as photo opportunities for family and fiends with Morro Rock in the background. Or catch the morning sun hitting the sail boats with Morro Rock in the background with a wisp of fog molded over the top. Morro Bay is also home to one of California's largest bird estuaries and a hands-on marine biology museum.
Los Osos
is a community of 14,000 population located 10 miles south of Cayucos. Los Osos has walking paths through the Elfin Forest, a veiw of the estuary, a 9 hole golf course and is the gateway to Montana de Oro state park which offers numerous walking trails to mountain peaks or tidal pools.
